Brandon began tattooing in 2011 through an unexpected apprenticeship. He grew up drawing but didn’t think it’d take him anywhere. It wasn’t until a friend of his asked for a drawing to get tattooed that eventually led Brandon to meet his tattoo mentor. Brandon’s friend took the drawing to her tattoo artist and he loved the drawing so much, he offered Brandon an apprenticeship.

That was the catalyst to his journey as a tattoo artist. It didn’t come without sacrifice as he was about to go to nursing school, and decided to drop it all to pursue Art.

He has worked out of 5 different shops over the course of 8 years before opening up his own with his wife in 2020.

He is Blood-borne Pathogen certified and makes sure to keep his clients health and safety as top priority. He uses the best tattoo supplies/machine/needles and sterile practices, and enjoys staying up to date on aftercare, tattoo techniques, placement, etc.

Casey Annest (apprentice)

Casey is our tattoo apprentice under Brandon’s mentorship.

He grew up drawing as a kid and focused on characters in movies; over time his art has evolved. This is still his favorite style to draw, preferably portrait style color-realism.

Casey had a very similar experience to how Brandon did getting started in the tattoo industry; Casey’s friend asked for a drawing to go get tattooed & that got him interested in tattooing as a career.

He found interest in Brandon’s work and stopped in one day to see if we were hiring an apprentice. Brandon saw great potential in Casey’s art and decided to offer him a job.

He is currently taking clients at a discounted rate for small (under 5x5) black&white or color tattoos; all done under Brandon’s supervision. Book Here!
